Spark is Britain’s first true storytelling club. Welcoming true stories in a friendly open-mic style atmosphere every other 1st Wednesday of the month. Sit back and listen, or sign up on the night to tell your own story!
The theme for our next storytelling night is 'Summer Nights'.
Hazy days, muggy nights... Come and tell us about yours! Did you have one of those golden summers that left its mark? Long school holidays, perhaps a rites-of-passage experience, a holiday romance or a disastrous trip. The theme is yours to do with as you please.
At Spark’s open-mic nights there are just three rules: your story has to be true, it has to have happened to you (not someone else) and it should be around 5 minutes long. We welcome storytellers of all abilities, from practised performers to nervous first-timers. Storytellers can sign up in advance or on the night.
